Heart Myth or Fact #14: A garlic clove a day keeps the bad cholesterol away


Garlic cloves have a better chance of thwarting off vampires than “bad” LDL cholesterol. People used to believe that eating a clove of garlic each day could reduce “bad” cholesterol. However there is nothing to back that idea.

So do any foods help lower your bad cholesterol levels? The best thing to do is combine a proper diet with exercise.
