Friday, February 5 is Wear Red Day

On February 5, people all over the country will help raise heart health awareness through Wear Red Day, led by Go Red for Women, a group dedicated to the reduction of heart disease and stroke in women. Groups all over the country are participating in Wear Red Day on Friday, but Go Red for Women urges us to go even further as individuals.

“Everyone can support the fight against heart disease in women by having a Wear Red Day any day. You could have it at the office, within your social club, your church group, any small or large organization you’d like. It’s a simple, powerful way to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke.”
